Natural Gas is a kind of flammable gas formed by the ancient creatures buried in the underground after hundreds of millions of years of high temperature and high pressure. Natural gas is mainly composed of methane and has a calorific value of 8,500 kcal/m3, which is a gaseous fossil fuel mainly composed of methane. It is mainly found in oil and gas fields, and a small amount is from coal seams. The main component is methane, and also contains a small amount of ethane, butane, pentane, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and the like. When there is no hydrogen sulfide, it is a colorless, odorless, flammable and explosive gas with a density of 0.6-0.8 g/cm3, which is lighter than air. Generally, a methane containing more than 90% is called dry gas, and a methane containing less than 90% is called moisture.

Natural gas is used by people in many areas to get warm. Natural gas is preferred in areas with abundant natural gas resources. In other regions, natural gas is not the ideal way to heat.During the combustion process, natural gas produces a large amount of nitrogen oxides, which is released in the same amount as nitrogen oxides produced by coal combustion. Therefore, the large amount of natural gas used for heating will add significant gas pollution, which is not conducive to human health, as well as the growth of animals and plants. Secondly, in countries with shortages of natural gas, the large use of natural gas for heating will increase external dependence and is not conducive to the safety of society and the country.
