National carbon neutral targets 1

China Target date:

2060 Nature of commitment: Policy announcement China announced to the UN General Assembly on September 22, 2020 that it will strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060 and adopt “stronger policies and measures” to reach its emission peak before 2030.

Austria Target date:

2040 Nature of commitment: The policy declares that the Austrian coalition government will take the oath of office in January 2020, committing to achieve climate neutrality by 2040 and 100% clean electricity by 2030, based on a binding carbon emission target. In cooperation with the Green Party, the right-wing People’s Party agreed to these goals.

Bhutan Target date:

Currently carbon-negative, and achieving carbon neutrality in the development process. Nature of commitment: Autonomous emission reduction program under the Paris Agreement. Bhutan has a population of less than 1 million, low income, and surrounding forests and hydropower resources. Balance the carbon account Easier than most countries. However, economic growth and increasing demand for automobiles are putting pressure on emissions.

California, USA Target Date:

2045 Nature of Commitment: Executive Order California’s economy is the fifth largest economy in the world. Former Governor Jerry Brown signed a carbon neutrality order in September 2018, and the state passed a law almost at the same time to achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2045, but green policies in other industries are not yet mature.

Canada Target Date:

2050 Nature of Commitment: The policy announces that Prime Minister Trudeau will be re-elected in October 2019. His political platform is centered on climate action, he promises a net zero emission target, and a legally binding five-year carbon budget .

Chile Target date:

2050 Nature of commitment: Policy announcement President Pinera announced in June 2019 that Chile is striving to achieve carbon neutrality. In April 2020, the government submitted an enhanced mid-term commitment to the United Nations, reiterating its long-term goals. It has been determined that 8 of the 28 coal-fired power plants will be closed by 2024, and coal-fired power will be phased out by 2040.

Costa Rica Target date:

2050 Nature of commitment: Submitted to the United Nations In February 2019, President Quesada formulated a package of climate policies. The plan submitted to the United Nations in December determined that net emissions in 2050 would be zero.

Denmark Target date:

2050 Nature of commitment: The law stipulates that the Danish government has formulated a plan to establish a "climate neutral society" by 2050 in 2018. The plan includes a ban on the sale of new gasoline and diesel vehicles from 2030 and support for electric vehicles . Climate change was a major theme in the June 2019 parliamentary elections, and the winning "Red Group" party set stricter emission targets in legislation passed six months later.

European Union Target Date:

2050 Nature of Commitment: Submitted to the United Nations According to the "Green Agreement" announced in December 2019, the European Commission is working hard to achieve the EU's 2050 net zero emissions target. The long-term strategy was submitted to the United Nations in March 2020.

Fiji Target Date:

2050 Nature of Commitment: Submitted to the United Nations as the chair of the 2017 United Nations Climate Summit COP23, Fiji has made additional efforts to demonstrate leadership. In 2018, the Pacific island country submitted a plan to the United Nations with the goal of achieving zero net carbon emissions in all economic sectors.

Finland Target date:

2035 Nature of commitment: The ruling party alliance agreement As part of the negotiations to form the government, the five parties agreed in June 2019 to strengthen the country’s climate laws. It is expected that this goal will require restrictions on industrial logging and the phasing out of peat burning for power generation.

France Target date:

2050 Nature of commitment: The law requires the French National Assembly to vote on June 27, 2019 to incorporate the net zero target into the law. In a report in June this year, the newly established High Climate Committee recommended that France must triple the rate of emission reductions in order to achieve carbon neutrality goals.

China's building carbon neutral path:

From a global perspective, the construction sector contributes 40% of total carbon emissions and is a key sector for achieving carbon neutrality goals. Carbon emissions in the building construction process mainly come from the production, transportation and construction of building materials. The main sources of carbon emissions during building operation are heating, air conditioning, lighting, socket equipment, special energy use (such as laboratories, data centers, etc.) and transportation energy (charging piles). Building carbon neutrality can be achieved through three aspects: demand reduction, ultra-high energy efficiency, and energy substitution.

Demand reduction From the demand side, priority is given to adopting means of reducing energy load, optimizing and adjusting building flow lines and functions, and trying to adopt free measures, that is, measures that do not involve project cost, such as natural lighting and natural ventilation. Secondly, building envelope structures (exterior walls, doors and windows, roofs, shading) with thermal performance more in line with climate characteristics can be used to reduce the total energy demand of the building from the source. At the same time, the use of green, low-carbon, and light-weight building materials can reduce carbon emissions from building materials and construction waste.

Ultra high energy efficiency Adopt ultra-high energy-efficiency equipment, such as LED lights, variable frequency water pumps, magnetic levitation coolers, etc., and intelligent management methods, such as smart charging piles, smart equipment startup and shutdown, etc., to improve energy efficiency and promote deep energy conservation and emission reduction. In addition, by strengthening operation debugging and operation management, avoiding technology stacking, and achieving results-oriented ultra-low energy consumption buildings.

Energy substitution Make full use of local renewable energy and waste heat and cooling through technologies such as BIPV, energy storage (battery energy storage, ice storage, phase change materials, etc.), ground source water source heat pump, biomass power generation, absorption heat pump, etc. , To replace the use of fossil energy to reduce carbon emissions.

In order to accelerate the process of carbon neutrality in the construction sector, effective policy roadmaps, norms and standards, and implementation mechanisms need to be issued at the national and local levels, covering the entire life cycle of buildings, including design, development, operation and demolition. In addition to policy support, a wider range of stakeholders are needed, including urban planning departments, architectural design departments, material suppliers, equipment suppliers, utility companies, developers, and investors.

Aster far infrared heating products, national patent technology, high efficiency, energy saving, safety and environmental protection, has passed the national laboratory testing, EU CE certification, RoHS, EMC electromagnetic compatibility testing, exported to Europe, is an ideal electric heating products.
